The current generators run in your browser. Character names, pronouns, optional vibe notes, selected filters, and edited results are not sent to an Incorrect Quotes Gen generation API.

What information do the generators process?

The Incorrect Quote Generator processes the names, pronouns, vibe notes, and filters you enter. The headcanon tools process the character names, relationship names, categories, dynamics, tones, and result counts you choose.

This processing happens on your device. The tool uses the information to select and fill an original template.

What does the website store in the browser?

The quote generator can save character groups in local storage. The theme control can also remember a light or dark preference.

Local storage belongs to the browser and website origin. MDN explains how the Web Storage API gives a website access to local and session storage.

You can remove a saved group inside the generator. You can remove all locally stored site data through your browser settings.

What information may the hosting provider process?

The hosting provider may process standard technical logs. These may include an IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, response status, and error details.

Technical logs support security, abuse prevention, error diagnosis, and reliable delivery. They are separate from the browser-based quote and headcanon generation process.

What happens when you send an email?

An email may include your address, message, attachments, and technical delivery information. The email provider processes that data to deliver and store the message.

Messages may be kept long enough to answer a request, investigate abuse, resolve a rights concern, or meet a legal obligation. Do not send sensitive personal data that is not needed for the request.

Does the initial package include analytics or advertising?

No. The initial package does not include an analytics script, advertising script, user account system, or AI generation API.

Does the website use cookies?

The initial application code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. A hosting platform, security service, or future feature may use necessary cookies or similar technologies.

Any future service that changes user tracking or consent requirements should be described before or when it is enabled.

What should children and families know?

The website is a general-audience creative tool. It does not ask users to build personal profiles. Users should not enter a full legal name, address, school, phone number, or other sensitive personal detail as character data.
